Yes, I am still alive!! And happily located in this lil mountain the locals call BIG WHITE!! Below is a little update on whats been going on...
 
When I arrived the crew came down to Kelowna (closest town, 45 mins away!) to meet me and bring me back up the mountain (about 2000 meters elevation). Its just breathtaking up here but I had no time to appreciate the view as I threw my stupidly heavy back pack in my new room and was immediately dragged up a snow covered mountain-goat style track into the local pub!!

It was needless to say that I met nearly every person on the mountain that nite and consequently still struggle with the many random people who know my name and come say gday! Thank the lord for those wonderful endearments 'babe' 'darl' 'matey' and 'hun'!!!
 
I am living in a 2 storey mountain chalet with massive high roofs and a stonewall feature fire place. The view I look out upon is of a massive pine valley which rises to a horizon of snow capped mountains. The sunrise and sunset each day has been amazing and I have some pics to prove it!
